Sculpture at the Capitolio Havana


Name:   The statue “The Tutelary Virtue” (La Virtud Tutelar) stands on the right hand side at the entrance to the Capitolio Building in Havana.  The statue stands 21 feet high.  There are two statues by Angelo Zanelli which flank the center staircase to the entrance of the Capitolio.  The other statue (a detail) called “Work” (El Trabajo) can be seen here.

Artist:   The sculptor was Italian sculptor Angelo Zanelli.

Location:   Havana, Cuba
