The Temple of Hathor Complex

The exterior of the Temple of Hathor, the west facade is shown here as an example of ancient Egyptian architecture. This architecture image shows a detail of the forth and fifth registers, although slightly vandalized.

The Temple of Hathor exterior walls have carved reliefs in this image which illustrates detail of the offerings to the Divinities. The Hathor complex is located in the cultural center of Hathor, Denderah, middle Egypt. It is dated 1st century B.C. – 1st centuy A.D., from the Ptolemaic-Roman period of Egyptian architecture/sculpture during the reigns of Augustus, Tiberius, Caligua, Claudius, Nero . This structure is constructed of sandstone. The architect is unknown.
