View:  This photo shows a close up of a wooden sculpture of a pious figure which now stands in the Hotel El Convento in León.  The Hotel El Convento was once the San Francisco Convent founded in 1639 by Pedro de Zúñiga, a Reverend Brother.  In 1995, plans were made to renovate the former convent into a hotel.  The Hotel El Convento opened in 2000.
